Global Executive, Board Member and Advisor who delivers strategic and operational leadership for dynamic and complex businesses including Alphabet/Google, Tesco, PwC, Tyco, and Ford and venture backed businesses. First woman and person of color to hold the position of Treasurer at both Alphabet/Google and Tesco. Member of the Board and Audit committee & Chair of Compensation committee of Open Lending Corp (Nasdaq listed). US and UK citizen.

Shubhi has leveraged her experience along with her keenness for data and technology to champion equality practices that uplift professional women. This has sparked her to found Uplevyl: a First-of-its-kind, women trained AI platform designed to bridge the gender gap in organizations.

● Executive Leadership: Shubhi has focused on creating value through aligning the financial strategy to the business vision and serving stakeholders and Board with data and insights to make sound decisions. Track record of building high-performance organizations, capital raising and enhancing shareholder value. Strong expertise in FP&A, Debt and Equity Raises, Corporate Strategy, Investment Management, Investor Relations, Regulatory Compliance, M&A, Risk management and SaaS. Record of driving sustainable solutions with emerging technologies, including Cloud, AI, Machine learning, robotics and Blockchain.

● Trusted Relations: Shubhi has closely partnered with CEO, Board of Directors, senior leaders and direct reports to drive the business and financial agenda. She is well versed in managing relations with auditors, banks, rating agencies, insurers, investors, Investment/Audit Committees.

● Technology Innovation: Shubhi has successfully piloted use of Machine Learning (ML) for investment management and share buyback, robotics for Claims management and equity query management; and use of blockchain for FX for Alphabet/Google—Implemented several Finance systems (SAP, Swift, Openlink).

● Regulations & Compliance: Ensured compliance for regulations including FCPA, FATCA, MiFID2, SEPA, AML, PSD, Basel III, LCR, Dodd-Frank, GDPR, IFRS9, and BEPS.

In addition to her “day job”, Shubhi is a mother, wife, fundraiser and serves on the boards of think tanks -- International Center for Research on Women and Center for Global Development. She is also the honorary member of the executive advisory council for the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco.

Shubhi earned her B.S in Computer Science Engineering from Michigan State University and a MBA from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
